Kinetic opens two Phoenix service hubs, expands ADAS and autonomous vehicle support

ADAS technology includes features such as automated emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping, blind-spot monitoring and surround-view systems. These systems rely on cameras, radar, lidar and sensors that require diagnosis and calibration after repairs.
Kinetic said demand for these services is increasing as more ADAS-equipped vehicles enter the market. The company also cited continued autonomous vehicle testing in Arizona and California as a driver for expanding service infrastructure.
The first Phoenix Hub is a 6,000-square-foot facility in Deer Valley that is serving multiple Fix Auto shops. The second Phoenix Hub is an 8,600-square-foot facility serving dealerships and repair shops in the Tempe area.
The company's Los Angeles-area facility is an 8,000-square-foot hub in Inglewood. It serves customers including Chilton Auto Body and Century 1st Auto Body & Paint, along with surrounding communities.
Kinetic said technicians at its hubs use the company's AI, computer vision and robotics systems to diagnose, calibrate and program ADAS-equipped vehicles. Its technology includes Kinetic Vision, an imaging system used to generate repair estimates, and Kinetic ID, which identifies calibration needs following collisions.
Kinetic's network now includes 11 locations across California, Nevada, Utah and Arizona.
